nice place. never too paked, not full of suits and under-aged bingers. despite its recipe for a binge drink paradise of cheap drinks and plenty of seats, it is quite chilled out and relaxing if u sit down, yet still buzzing if u are up for mingling.

This pub really stinks. I don't mean it is rubbish but that you can smell the stale oil half way down upper street.

This was once the best pub on Upper Street. It was a cosy dark cavern with lovely old, comfortable furnishing, and such great atmosphere enhanced by the candles at each table.
Now it is repellant, it's all metal and it looks like a spaceship.

Its a Stream pub, cheap full of students - its like a can of ronseal it does exactly what it says on the tin. If you go in there wearing a suit students are likely to vomit on you, if you go in there dressed like a student you will have a really good time and no doubt get lucky. Despite its flaws its a good boozer with a nice outside space thats just had a recent facelift...

Pretty good for watching sport on TV. Also has some pretty good beer specials, not too bad overall.

This is a good pub. Cheap drinks, Sky TV, good vibe, jukebox, quiz machine. Always have a good time. 8/10

Excellent pub with lovely food. Try the cake burger - it's nothing you've ever had before. It's great for a night out, although can get very crowded. Make sure you get there early to get a table. Staff are fantastic (and very fit!)and drinks are of reasonable price. Although, i've been in there recently and i'm not too sure about the new layout - was better the way it was before.

"Charmless" is a great word for this pub. It really is rubbish. Why do Scream pubs all look the same in this dull dull way. You'd think students would be into non-conformity or something... Obviously not.

Once good, now rubbish. I agree with K. Scream has a habit of doing this to good pubs.

Staff are useless, too busy keeping local people happy! I am new to the area and this is my 'Local' yet they cant be arsed with me because i dont sit in 'Smokers Corner'! Too many relationships between staff also! Kissing behind the Bar whilst at work is not acceptable!

This pub should change its name to Islington Rugby Club. It is full of arrogant barstaff who are so up their own arses they forget that they are actually there to serve customers!

Shockingly bad pub. Charmless and crass. No big deal but the sad thing is it was once a good pub which has been utterly ruined. Now has nothing to offer but cooking lager, fruit machines and a state of the art video juke box playing such classics as blue. Great. A valuable lesson for any would be landlord. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Terrific place , lively young crowd, very friendly management & staff, good machines and vid juke box,good for sports big screen action, gr8 aircon, now has stella hooray ! Outside pool table, gr8 beer garden.

I used to work there - it has changed alot and is as the other comment says brash and has no character and is aimed at milking cash. Mind you the company stink anyway - paying peanuts and trying to be something 'cool'.

Used to be a decent, solid pub. Now a foully brash and insensitve "students" bar, with off-putting fixtures and fittings. Only go if you like that sort of thing.
