Nice setting and in a listed building. However it is your typical Harvester pub. Staff very friendly and helpful. No selection of real ales. Speckled Hen only.

Believe me its not worth the walk up the hill to get to it. You'd be far wiser to book yourself into the Duchess of Kent Hospice at the end of the road.....quite nice views though, I'll give it that.

Well we live it! It is lovely old building which was restored from a state of ruin. The menu is varied and cheap and they look after kids and older people as well. Recommended!

Boring plastic McPub, very pricey drinks and a bit tatty. Not worth the effort to climb up the hill frankly. Supposedly does good food, the reality at another table looked rather different.

You can take the kids there but thats about all this palce has going for it, very very expensive drinks and the food isn't memorable in a positive sense. In all honestly just a place to hold parents hostage while they recover from taking their children to the park.

What a bizarre building! Seemed to be a lot of strange people about as well. Pub/Restaurant

I really wouldn't try the food. I sent mine back and even the omelette they gave me instead was a ready made, frozen one. Ick.

Not really a place to drink, but the meals are sweet!
