Nice setting and in a listed building. However it is your typical Harvester pub. Staff very friendly and helpful. No selection of real ales. Speckled Hen only. DOBBINHWCC - 16 Nov 2007 09:24
Believe me its not worth the walk up the hill to get to it. You'd be far wiser to book yourself into the Duchess of Kent Hospice at the end of the road.....quite nice views though, I'll give it that. Nero - 14 Mar 2007 13:53
Well we live it! It is lovely old building which was restored from a state of ruin. The menu is varied and cheap and they look after kids and older people as well. Recommended! anonymous - 13 Oct 2006 17:54
Boring plastic McPub, very pricey drinks and a bit tatty. Not worth the effort to climb up the hill frankly. Supposedly does good food, the reality at another table looked rather different. posterpoet - 3 Feb 2006 10:11
You can take the kids there but thats about all this palce has going for it, very very expensive drinks and the food isn't memorable in a positive sense. In all honestly just a place to hold parents hostage while they recover from taking their children to the park. Hedgehog - 19 Jan 2006 15:26
