This place has gone for the Cuban look with Che Guevara posters everywhere and upbeat Latino music playing through the speakers. With the staff all speaking Spanish it felt fairly authentic, its just a shame that the small group of art students playing pool brought home the reality that I was in fact still in Holloway.

Fosters, San Miguel, Strongbow and Guinness were available on draught alongside various bottled lagers falling into the South American theme.

The bar area is small, but there are two little old TVs and also a projector screen which was rolled up. There were no signs for any sport, but then there were no signs for the toilets or the fact that there is a reasonably sized beer garden out the back with some extra seating. Also not in evidence is any indication that this pub is called the Lord Palmerston. The pub sign is the picture of Che Guevara that you see plastered on lots of T-shirts if you wander through Camden at the weekend.

This place is ok if you like your bars friendly, basic and with a hint of half-arsedness. Me, I think that Ill leave this place to the students.

Must have the largest bar for a tiny pub I have ever seen. It fills 2/3 of the floor space! But friendly staff, decent beer. Not bad.

El Comandante - great Latin American bar, with Castro and Guevara posters galore. Often a Stop the War poster or similar up too.

Come here for a laid back Latin night...perfect...

Recently been to this place, very friendly made to feel welcome, chatted to Landlord, although next time will ask him, why they do not serve draught beer after 11pm. The 2 barmaids were stunning, even put Match of the Day on for us, wonder if the pub's character will change, as its right round the corner from Arsenals new ground.

If you like Latin music this is the place to go, English looking pub with a Latin touch. Pool table on the side and a juke box with all kind of music. Friday and Saturdays there is a DJ with the latestes Latin music.
Beers from both sides of the world.
Only down side is, there is no space to dance!!!

samba posse pop down there for a jar or six and let the latin flavour flow. they don't play though the band says they're too loud. the commendente behind the bar is alright too. but it could be bigger and have a working hand dryer but life throws us these things, I'll wipe my hands on my trousers.

Strange little Latin themed old pub - Castro posters on the wall, San Miguel on tap, Latino bar staff. Hidden away off the Holloway Road - well worth a wander!
