I had a good time in this pub...yes it's a little ragged and you might get smashed over the head with pool cue but what's a bit of red, red crovvy?

TOP PLACE, DUNNO WHAT THESE LOT ARE ON ABOUT, BEEN A REGULAR SINCE ABOUT 1984.THIS IS WHAT U CALL A PROPER PUB!!!!WHERE YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR SHOES BEING IMMACULATE WHEN YOU WALK IN, YOU CAN SIT AND HAVE A FAG AND A PINT WITH NO SNOTTY T**TS LOOKING DOWN THEIR NOSE. YOU CAN GAURANTEE THAT AFTER BEING IN THERE 10 MINS ALONE SOMEONE WILL BE TALKING TO YOU AND YOU WILL BE A REGULAR BEFORE YOU NO IT.
SUPPOSE IT IS A BIT LIKE MARMITE THOUGH IN THE SENSE THAT YOU EITHER LOVE IT OR YOU HATE IT. BUT LIKE MY OLD MAN USED TO SAY..........IF YOU DONT LIKE IT YOU CAN F**K OFF HAHAHAHA

Couldn't agree more with the preceding comments. This place serves a choice of three identical and indentically bad (quite a skill) lagers and a curious brand of brown bilge water, beverages more suited to a mid-to-late eighties chrome bar than a 21st century pub. "Golf" trophies adorn the establishment, totems of the wannabe forelock tuggers that patronise it.

Very poor indeed.

This pub is so bad! Do walk past this place and on your way, roll in a grenade! When the smoke dies down, enter and retrieve those stolen golf clubs of yours that some dude would of being fencing had he not being blasted away. This pub should only be entered by CID - and not just for a drink. This could be the only instance where excessive police brutality would be pleasing to see in operation.

This was the worse pub I ever visited. If I return it will be with a large calibre weapon and a flame thrower. This is not a reasonable place at all and infact I've never fealt so threatened in a public house, just for being there.
