I'm laughing my head off about some of these reviews. Obviously the chap with "big white phone to god" syndrome had an unpleasant meal. Is this place still open? Agree about potential. This place has it.

The Crown and Cushion, Haslemere

Not actually bad, just a bit unwelcoming really. The town is crying out for a decent pub and unfortunately this one doesn't make the grade. Charmless wouldbe a good word to describe it - a bit taxi driver, if you know what I mean. I had a particularly rough pint of 6X too.

Albert, that is the funniest review I have ever read. I have nothing to say about the pub though.
