wolvesfan must have visited on an off day; being my local (and I have three other choices) I like it. The Thai food is excellent and very good value at lunchtime (£10 for three courses) The beer's pretty all right too!

How places like this survive I do not know. Just a basic boozer selling Thai food by the looks of it. I tried some offering from the Longdog Brewery, it was hazy and not very nice. I'll give this place a miss in the future.

Thought an update was in order. Three real ales, good choice of lagers and ciders, as well as Theakston's Dark Smooth. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere from staff who are very focused. Food is top quality, and very reasonably priced.

Nearest pub to station. Friendly, efficient (and rather cute) barmaid. Three good ales - and 2.50 for a pint seemed very cheap to this Londoner! Wide range of food available from 6pm to 8.45, and I'll deffo be back to try it sometime. Sky Sports News running on TV but quietly, so not a problem. The only slight irritations were the furniture layout (the main room is dominated by large circular tables with no obvious 'snug' corners), and some rather loud (but I stress not unfriendly) locals.

The new landlord took over in the summer of last year, and has improved the pub drastically. New and improved pub menu, better choice of real ale, and the atmosphere has improved greatly. Always worth a visit.

Nice village pub, a games room with pool darts, etc, a public bar, a dining area and a conservatory leading to a small garden. Greene King IPA, London Pride and Spitfire in good condition plus Kronenberg, Fosters, Guinness, and John Smith's and Theakston's smooths. Dcor is a bit plain, white walls relived only by a few old photos of the village. The customers are drawn from a wide range of ages etc.
