Really, really young crowd - I know I used to go here after school quite a few years ago. Its all still the same. I have to agree with Jane's comment on this one!

Hint to anyone walking past this apparently, eternaly empty bar, go in, go upstairs.
Only what i can describe as a spacious if rather delapidated (in the decore department) ball room is what greets you upstairs, bar, bench seats, a few sofas and an elevated dj area (for dj and his crew) at one end. It has Something of the unpretentiousness of a Student union bar about it.
Lets face it, the beer selection isn't great, just the usual suspects and heaven help you if you want a beer rather than a lager/pilsner or Guinness, still a good selection of shorts and bottled beers. Its not that cheep either. However there is no door charge and late licence.
So if you don't fancy O'Neils, and don't want to spend money just to get into somewhere. This could be a viable option.

I think this bar is one of the best priced in Kingston.The staff are very fiendly and also willing help.It's always packed even in the summer when it's really hot in there. There's always a range of music being played so it suits everyones taste. As the food, its great! Well worth a visit

boring, lifeless, usually empty and always overpriced. We don't need more bars like this. I want beer that tastes of beer and not to be elbowed by dolled up 16 year olds!

Had a horrific meal with work colleagues at this bar. The staff were rude and the service very slow. Would not recommend this bar to my worst enemy.

I think its an exceptional venue. How many Grade II listed buildings do you get to drink in !! Well this bar has this status, along with brilliant music and a dedicated force of workers. Personally, it reaches the parts of my friends and I , where no other drinking hole in kingston dares to reach.

they did refund the money and give us all a free drink though - that was pretty nice of them.

really loved this place on a fri when two chums of mine used to dj there - is still ok and a much neglected haunt in kingston
bouncers are also very flattering as they asked me for ID at the tender age of 27 - thanx lads!!!!

Nice downstairs, but upstairs is much better. Typical bar. Very nice. There were some very attractive young ladies there, and I went on a Tuesday. Stays opne till 12 at weekends, which is becoming a must in Kingston now
