It has indeed closed and about to be replaced by Graphic Bar, which looks like one to avoid if their webpage is anything to go by.

Reportedly in danger of closure, but the sign on the pavement outside states "Open as usual (but better)". Inside, the ominous words "Sorry folks cash only" are written behind the bar, and it is difficult to know if the place is being run down or whether new people have just taken it over. Some comfortable seating, but very dark and no real ale.

Ok to watch the sport in. You can usually get a seat as its far enough away from oxford circus and piccadilly not to be seen by tourists nor be everyones first choice.

Not bad pub at all. Reasonably priced compared to others in the area and doesn't get unbearably quiet. If wheather is nice you can go and sit in Golden Square (provided you've got a plastic glass).

The Midas Touch is just off Piccadilly Circus. Drinks are cheap, and had a positive and cheerful backpacker atmosphere. Staff were fantastic and the food even better. A top spot for meeting interesting people from all around the world, whilst chilling out to some good funky music. Would definitely recommend it!
