full of chavs, scum and pikeys...some gay guy called Roy is seen in there regularly and always looks like a limp wristed fister

good for pool in the day and poker on occasion, but must be avoided at night unless you acctually want a fight.
many a burberry clad knuckle scabber in here.
food? not really.
cheap. in every way.

I walked past this bar the other day and saw four pikeys standing outside it admiring a pit bull terrier one of them owned. Speaks volumes.

If you like a traditional pub atmosphere, or even just a bog-standard local hostelry, then a trip to Yates's will be a truly depressing experience.
However, if you've just taken your electronic tag off and finished serving your latest ASBO, then this will be right up your alley.
One to be avoided unless you are being chased by a angry swarm of wasps and its the only place to hide. And even then I'd think twice.

I've not lived in Epsom long but this place does seem to be improving no end.
Whatever the management/owners have done over the last few weeks - keep it up! I'd love be able to come here regularly!

My first visit to this bar was crap, it was full of chavs & the staff were rubbish.
After going back a couple of weekends ago, it seems that things have turned around. Good music, good beer & good service.

This places epitomizes what epsom has become. Thats why i moved to the south coast, no social housing where i live.

yates used to be a right laugh about a year ago! and i havent really been since then coz its gone really down hill! avoid this place its shit now!

if you're 14 - 17 you'll love it. Get your mini skirt out and your high heels, your burberry and your fake louis vitton and have a good night chatting up mingers in fred perry shirts and chinos. There's even a bus that will take you too The Works in Kingston afterwards to join all the other under age monsters from surrounding areas. ENJOY !!

ew,ew,ew avoid like the plague at all costs.Devoid of any atmosphere,shoddy inedible food,miserable bar staff,no decent music and a clientele which wouldnt look out of place on CrimeWatch.Snob?Not at all.Merely the picture that is painted at this place,must be one of the worst places to come spend an evening.When barstaff dont know what a dry white wine is then there are obviously significant problems.
