Visited again and once again, I can only say great things about the place, the food and the management. Looking forward to the next visit.

I love Beer6's comment "the people are cool". Have you just flown over here from Russia? Or are you the new landlord? If you class the turds of Yateley too be cool it dosent say much about you. This pub has the potential to be really good, being in a fantastic location with a nice building. However, the pub nowadays caters for any Yateley pikey that has been banned elsewhere in the town. If you want to hang around with tarmac'ers, bin men, criminals and bald old men with Alsatians this is the place for you. If you happen to be passing at closing time on a Friday or Saturday night, listen for the the intellectual debates that are held in the pub car park. "My boy billy never chord no logs" and "im going to glass you, you cunt" are just some of the inspirational quotes you will hear. If you manage to get away still wearing the shoes you arrived in you have done well. On the flip side, the pub is very lenient if you wish to leave your caravan in the carpark for a few weeks. 1/10.

A good all round pub!

The food here is yummy and people are cool enough so yes, I like it.

A good large pub with IPA, Abbott's, Belhaven and a Guest Ale avaialbe. Shall visit again soon!

Not a bad place to be to enjoy a pint of IPA

We have visited this pub twice for the fortnighly jazz and enjoyed both visits. There is plenty of room in the longe bar, with reasonable tables and chairs and modern carpet. The bar staff, mainly young women, are friendly and efficient. The real ale is somewhat limited, the pumps being heavily outnumbered by lager taps. The second time we had dinner there, for which I chose the 'Hunter's chicken' and Selina managed more than half her substantial Sausages and Mash, washed down with a bottle of cheap but good Chilean Merlot. A good meal and not too expensive. We will certainly go there again.

Since a refit and change of management this pub is beginning to show it's true potential. A lovely location (Yateley Common Coutry Park), pleasant surroundings both inside and out, good food and drink, friendly staff and a dog friendly second bar.
|
Seems like a nice enough pub, but my first impressions of dirty glasses and not so nice pub grub was disappointing. I may give it another go if i'm bike riding across the common and feel like a drink.

Great little pub, nice surroundings, two bar areas and restaurant area. Drinks are cheap, as is the food. Both are of very high quality. There are also tables out the front, perfect for those bike rides across Yateley Common ending in a pub-lunch.
Friendly staff, couple of fruit machines and live bands every now and then.
