It would be nice if the enthusiasm with which this wonderfully located boozer has been transformed was reflected in the bar staff's serving abilities. The more ambitious upmarket vibe is all great stuff but can we have the slovenly aristocrats in front of the bar not behind it? THEY COULD EVEN GO ROUND THE TABLES ASKING YOU IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANOTHER DRINK! Get that bloke who sends out the irritating Geronimo Club emails on the pumps too- smiling preferably- its not common you know!
