Smashing pub, i think recently under new owenership. Pub food was great, fires lovely and as for the wine.... Excellent!

Cherry Orchard Inn, Boughton

Most disappointed with the service i received on my recent visit. Unfortunately they had ran out of merlot... but hay ho, these things happen... i was given (not offered) a 'mix and match' instead...to my horror, consisted of the dregs of 3 bottles of red!!!
When i discreetly explained i didn't want that and would like a refund, i was amazed at the response from the chap in charge.... how very very rude!
Need i say i wont be visiting again, no wonder it was quiet!
