The Commercial, Herne Hill

The pub itself isn't too bad, although it could be cleaner, the real problem is the staff who treat customers with contempt. They are unhelpful and rude, and on a previous visit, unapologetic when caught out after over charging a customer. This pub really needs to raise its game and remember it's in the service industry, and that customers should be its focus not an inconvenience. My advice would be to avoid this pub and try the Florence, wine bar next door, or the Half Moon instead.
