We, my wife and I, stayed in Alcester recently. We went into the Bear it was warm , friendly and had lovely staff. We ate there and the food was well cooked , hot, delicious and very reasonable. We were in town for four nights and this was such a great pub that we went back every evening - we could not see the point in trying anywhere else. The staff - after we returned for the second time - treated us like family . It was a very lovely experience and I recommend it . Big , old , refurbished but very well and so clean !

The Bear, Alcester
