My local and a good place to relax. Food is definitely upmarket and pricey, usually good but smallish portions as noted by other posters. Ale is better value for money than the lager, �2.80 for Adnams Broadside. Expensive but great on the terrace next to the river in summer and log fires inside in winter. Service is hit & miss unless you are an attractive woman (mostly male bar staff). Table service is a plus!

The Duke of York, Fitzrovia

Nice traditional boozer. Busy on a Thursday night when we visited - no chance of a seat. Quite smokey but great bar staff (fast service, friendly and cute!) and well kept Old Speckled Hen. Recommended if you are in the area.
