primarily a bar for watching big games, but have been here on a few work do's. nice food, quick service although its expected as the place is quite isolated from everywhere else.

The Pitcher and Piano, Reading

done up recently (don't know how recent, was within a year though) and a lot better than how it was. staff are on the ball, nice frozen effect with the beer fonts (condensated fonts are all the rage!).

very nice posh bar.

The Fez Club, Reading

If they ran out of lime its understandable. Oh yeah and i doubt a slice of lime adds on a few pennies to the price, you only pay for the bottle... anyyyway...

The times i've been to fez its a great bar. Doorstaff though don't seem to have a good reputation here, i can vouch for that from one scenario where they were quite open about the fact they'd rather everyone go home than pay and go in. I can understand "having a bad day" but its not professional at all. The downstairs room is a bit small but its different, and i usually head upstairs before too long, where the dancefloor is nice and big and service is great! Nice variety of nights here and overall a good bar!
