The Wellington Inn, Hull

Stunningly good pub with great beer and great service - as it says on their website "Think local, drink global". Now over a 100 world beers on sale, plus real ales, ciders and perrys.

Thursday night music nights highly recommended - especially the 'stripped' night 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month - see myspace.com/hullstripped for who's on.

If you fancy a quiet beer Monday evening is the best bet - but make it soon 'cos people are going to find out about this place soon:)

The licensees have chosen not to go with a smoking shelter (at least not yet) but there is plenty of room and seating out back for the smokers; for the rest of us the open modern decor is even better in a smoke free atmosphere.

For my money this is the best pub for many miles around, in fact a pub in a league of its own.
