A friend and I stumbled upon this gem of a pub last Saturday night by complete accident!Upon entering there seemed to some confusion, the barmaid was swearing profusely at some of the locals but got very embarassed when she saw us newcomers, she did apologise most sincerely!After that the locals were very friendly and insisted that we return! A great mix of people young and old who had great rapport!This is the sort of pub one dreams about!Most importantly the IPA was superb!! We will definitely be back!

The Builders Arms, New Barnet
I had to come back for a second visit! Great atmosphere and tried the Abbot this time it was spot on! A real real ale pub! Locals seemed to be happy think it had something to do with Tottenham TRASHING The Arsenal 5-1! yes 5-1!
