The Rams Head, Denshaw

Myself and my wife went to this pub last evening and we had an absolutely lovely meal. So - Food 10/10 as far as I am concerned.

However, dining out isn't solely about the food. There are many places to eat where the food is excellent.

Aa previous reviewer has stated, we too felt rushed. We had a starter, a main meal and a coffee and yet we were in and out of the place within 50 minutes.

This detracted massively from the occasion. The head waiter was, as mentioned above, a Sergeant Major type. He was professional, and saw that everything was in place but ... a smile and a bit of time would have been appreciated.

After my main course, I sat back with my belly full - and he came over to ask if I wanted a dessert or a coffee... what I wanter at that point was 10-15 minutes to let my meal digest.

I love this pub and it's out-of-the-way location, I love their food, I love their beer.

But give it with a smile and a bit of understanding that a �50 meal deserves more than a hour of your time.
