I'd class myself as a social drinker but I prefer the more old-fashioned pubs in the city centre, and the real ales. I'm also a member of CAMRA as well, and the Lion Tavern (my favourite pub) was on the cover of the last issue of BEER.........happy days.

quite a pub actually, yet to try the food but the beer is nearly always on top form, and even if they don't serve one you want, some of the bar staff will actually reccomend a pub that does. top place to go for a pint in the middle of the day, just don't try squeezing inside on the Mathew Street Festival, you won't!

fantastic pub, some very friendly regulars, even when i got caught using the wrong toilet (accident!), you can get a few dirty looks though if you're wearing trainers, varied ale at times, and decent bar staff

A great pub, some quality staff in there, especially the blonde guy (Dave?) and the beer is top notch, loads of staff in from Asda across the road at times, but pretty friendly and great for watching the match in
