The Tulse Hill Tavern, Tulse Hill
If you are looking for a sociable & friendly atmosphere this is the wrong place for you.
It's one of the few pubs within the local area that has a big screen and shows sky sports, it also has a beer garden so it should be a great place to go on a sunny Sunday for a couple with some mates. Don't be fooled! The pub always smells horrible from the minute you enter and if you decide to go to watch the football you will be treated, as I was, to 100 decibel recitement of such chants as "<EPL FOOTBALL TEAM> ARE SH!T, <EPL FOOTBALL TEAM> ARE SH!T AND YOUR MUM IS A F*CKING DOG!"
It's not just the fact that the place smells, the patrons are loud chavs, it's incredibly dirty and dingier that a middle eastern brothel... oh wait, it is!
