Though we would try here again after a year or two to see if it had improved. But no, food was OK, nothing special and definitely overpriced for what you get. Service at the bar is shocking, the bar staff need to learn to look around the bar and not just ask 'who's next'!
When we ordered food we asked if they could swap some chips for sweet potato which was also on the menu, we were told it couldn't be done and 'that's just how it is'. Can't be that hard!
We won't be bothering to go back. Shame really as with a lick of paint and some decent service this could be a great place.

Ive always had good food here in the past, nothing special but good pub food. But we went there a few days ago and the food has gone downhill. I had the burger and it was awful, burnt, flavourless and the chips were cold.
Ales are pretty good though just dont have the food!
