Went in here a few times while down in Ilfracombe on a shooting holiday.
Lively pub with friendly locals. Worth a visit.

I always go here with the rest of the team whenever we're down in Pompey.
Yes, it's expensive and is full of pretentious posers, but if you go in armed with that information then it's not a problem.
The place is always full, so they must be doing something right.

The George and Dragon, Ilfracombe
Went in here a few times while down in Ilfracombe on a shooting holiday.
Quiet (but still a busy pub) relaxed atmosphere. They have a policy of "no mobile phones to be used in the pub" actually!
Good beer and friendly staff - I must have liked the place 'cos I ended up buying one of their polo shirts with the pub name on!
