The Greyhound, West Ham

I was a regular here back in the 80s.
Great atmosphere in Public Bar, darts and pool team - never any trouble but lots of fun.
Highlight would be when Brian the landlord would ask if anyone wanted afters and stay for a game of killer pool!!

Great days!

Giving it a rating of 10 for what it WAS like...don't know now.
Its the characters that make the pub - not the beer or the building. (The beer does help though!)

Best pub in Grays. Good beer and friendly atmosphere.

The Old Dog, Herongate

We went there last Sunday for a family meal. Food was high quality if a little expensive. Our youngest (fussy!) daughter did not like anything on the menu and the offered to do her sausage and mash.
Service was very good and friendly
Beer excellent - they had a good selection of real ales, and I opted for the Abbot!!
Will be going there again!
