Royal Oak, Stonnall
I have recently moved into the area and visited the Royal Oak with my partner. Nice enough place but I found the locals to be ignorant and very loud, and the leering landlords comments about my rural accent made me feel most uncomfortable. Final straw was the sour faced barmaid who hovered around our table waiting to take our empty glasses.
The Royal Oak is in our opinion a locals pub where 'outsiders' are not really welcome.
