I'm a Carer for my mother, and a part time Builder, I teach Martial Arts (Iai and Kenjutsu) a couple of evening a week. Married and divorced twice, I now have a partner who can handle my odd way of life. I have 5 sons The youngest (22 years old at the time of posting) works and trains with me. Other hobbies include Music, both playing and listening to Rock and Metal, Computer gaming, and reading SF/Fantasy.

Bankes Arms Hotel and Country Inn, Studland
I only use this place once a year, when I come down for the annual Memorial Parade for the members of the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards, who died during Exercise Smash1 on the 4th April 1944. I have always found the place to be very friendly, the food excellent and the staff helpful. As such it's one of those rare places that you can happily recommend to people.

The Halfway House, Rickmansworth
Under new management as of Oct 2007, the new landlord is not the most ideal host, miserable, surly and one of the most unfriendly people I have ever met behind the bar.
