I started working in the swan about 4months ago now, unfortunatly since ive been there ive had 3 different managers so far. Its cahnged emmencley in the last 4 months. The decor has picked up but sadley the custom has gone down and id just like to say give it chance and if you have'nt been in there before give it a go. As they say things can only get better!

Mafeking Hotel, Normanton
I used to go in this pub at least once a week. I spent ablot of my childhood in there and my mum was the captain of the thursday and sunday darts team. She and my dad went in there form young ages and some regulars depeneded on its everyday service. I made many friends in there and was very upset to see it close on the 27th february 2007. For anyone who knows where ia m talking about im sure they feel the same, as it was not just a public house but part of a way of living.
