I agree with other comments, the landlord is as welcoming as a nest of wasps. very off putting..All pubs are struggling, and if he smiled , it would make a pleasant change. I dont go back anymore....lost my custom due to him

The Flight Tavern, Lowfield Heath

This is a great pub with great food and friendly staff. REf other postings, if you only go to the pub to see the planes take off, and they are taking off in the other direction due to the wind...........i hardly see that as fair to make the pub down for that...they dont have control over air traffic control..!!
The staff here bend over backwards to assist you and the venue is also used for wedding receptions/christenings etc..and Sarahs home made cakes are to die for...
