The Adam and Eve, Homerton

An architectural gem. Full of stained glass and nice wood with a proper bar and a snug. A decent pint and friendly staff. Too many gaming machines and loud tellies though. Looking like an endangered species - a working class pub in Hackney!

The Cock Inn, Bishop's Stortford

A really friendly local with a good pint of Adnams on draught. We were pasing through on the river and caught the Karaoke night which was great fun. Left handbag behind (absent minded) which the landlord very helpfully posted on to us.

Best pub in Bishops Stortford. A little gem.
