New landlord now in (old one is re-opening the Three Kings at long last), staff all changed and more and more regulars gone. dingdando will be happy that the "generic" pish that was the world renowned and Oktoberfest regular Hoffbrau has been replaced by the big brand crap that is Amstel and Kronenbourg. It's lost it's charm, simple as that. Hopefully the Badger beers will survive but I fear for this place. Not sure what they're doing with the food menu- it's never been a part of this place, as it was such a great boozer. I'm afraid that with the changes seen so far it won't be long before the menu tells you the chips were "hand cut" and that the burgers are "21 day aged"- woohoo. I'll never find out- I'm off to the fox

Still a great local boozer BUT...prices have just drifted up around 30 pence a pint in early January and many of the popular staff left en masse late last year.....please don't let it be a downward spiral

The Twickenham Tup, Twickenham

In here to watch the Premiership Final on Sat and the first thing the new owners have done is to take away the 2 big screens! Lost count of the number of people who walked in, looked at the 2 big empty spaces at each end and looked puzzled- they were it's bread and butter! A few new plasmas dotted about but nothing to replace the projectors. All this 2 weeks before the Lions tour- awesome timing....
