The Rising Sun, Epsom

10/10 What can I say - please read the reviews, everything they say is true or only very mildly libellous! I've been drinking in this pub for a good few years now and it is everything you log on to a site like this to look for. The fact that someone is pleased to be moving into a road with a pub in it says it all (Anuj - look me up - I'll get some drinks in).
Now the bad news...STOP PRESS... one of the chain brewers (Youngs, I think) have bought the lease over the landlord's head and want to turn it back into a tied pub (sadly it isn't "tied" to Pilgrim)- so if you want some of what the reviews hint at, turn up very soon... otherwise put all the other reviews down to history and don't make the trip. I'll be sure to post again soon to let you know if you're only going to get the Young's ORDINARY experience.
