Quality local. Hidden away a touch and a fairly unattractive building. But inside it's a proper drinking venue with a great selection of well kept beer. Owned by the Hop Back brewery from Salisbury - GFB is a personal favourite. Best of all, the price is very cheap - a pound lower than pubs a 10-minute walk away. Friendly staff. Free wifi. Now a conservatory built and a microbrewery on the way too! Superb pub.

The Pelican Inn, Gloucester
Fabulous drinking pub. Superb location a 5-10 minute walk from Kingsholm. Great beer, cheap prices. Beer garden. Always a great atmosphere on matchday. Probably Gloucester's best city centre pub - very close with the Fountain Inn.
