The Florence Tavern, Islington

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. I booked a surprise birthday party for 60 people in this pub for Monday 2 July. The pub did not open, leaving me with a completely ruined night. They do not respond to emails and they never answer the phone. I've just spotted the comment about it being populated "by geezers with heavy colds" and I can confirm that that when the pub did eventually open up (we'd relocated but had to post people nearby to redirect latecomers) that very dodgy looking geezers were going rapidly going in and out the back of the pub. Just sayin'. STAY AWAY FROM THIS.
