The Cardinal, Kingston Upon Thames

This pub is vile - worse since the new owners have taken over. There is nowhere to escape the screaming and swearing of the yob element youngsters - discipline is non-existent - (especially the foul language of the younger girls on one of the nights I was there) The beer is below average if you can wait to be served as there is only ever one barman on. There is no hot water in any of the toilets. The decoration is a hybrid of south America meets Eastenders. It has nowhere to escape the smoke. This is definately NOT a pub to take anyone over 30 to for a 'quiet' drink - especially not a wife or girlfriend.
No bar mats, sticky ashy tables. On the few occassions I have visited - dogs have been roaming the pub off of their leads. Two televisions show different programmes whilst commercial radio blares in the background. On my final visit I had to leave my drink, as the smell of disinfectant from the cleaning five minutes after time, made me nauseus.

Walk past this pub to ANYWHERE else!
