The Norfolk Arms, Russell Square
This is truly the 'piers morgan' of central london pubs - has a massively inflated sense of its own importance. Very happy to take your money at 10.55pm, but woe betide should you still be supping at 11.06pm. The Norfolk Arms staff will bear down on you until you finish your pint and refuse to even acknowledge your existence. Tapas menu is lazy with tiny portions and the staff are suitably rude. All in all a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Save your money - drink in the Lord John Russell and eat in Chilli Cool around the corner.
