Crown Inn, Beeston

I started drinking in this pub when I was 16; then it was quiet, oldy worldy and a nice pub. It stayed that way for years and I even worked there. Where's Keith! I don't live in Beeston now, but go back every 6 months and went back a few months ago. God! All brass and new carpets and a 'new' pub and full of a lot younger people than before. Shame, but still The Crown to me. Memories. Still a 9 to me! Times change I suppose and we're all getting older.
