The Red Lion, Shirley

I've been a customer for nearly 2 years at the lion and I love the place. I've made so many friends and heard so many bad jokes (and chat up lines-you know who you are wobbler!) The regulars that some of you are complaining about are great chaps-especially the veggie who insists that bacon crisps are meat free!!!It's the only pub I'll go into without the boyfriend because I know I can talk to anyone and I'll be safe and confortable. Even the grumpy landlord is quite cute when you get to know him. I'm giving this pub 10 out of 10 because it's my local and I love it-that's what pubs are about.
