Sir Winston Churchill, Loughton

I was sorry to hear about the last posters experience -mine has been very different.I have known the manager Jim now for over a year through the generous Charity support he gives to our local primary school .He has always been a perfect gentleman and extremely helpful.Several of our parents have eaten at the Carvery and rated it very highly.
Although I'm not local to Loughton ,I have supped with the locals and even as a lone lady found the atmosphere very welcoming and friendly ,and there was a lot of good natured banter and laughter going on.
I'd certainly recommend it.
