The Red Lion Inn, Shoreham by Sea

Have been frequenting the Red Lion for a few years but not anymore after our visit on saturday with my partner and my parents. The food was absolutely awful. My mother and I ordered quiche which at best could be described as scambled egg on a limp pastry base when it arrived, my partner had the all day english breakfast which was absolutely swimming in grease, my father's chicken meal was ok although he found two hairs in it and my mother found a long blond one in her meal which i would say came from a young guy who was in the kitchen not sure if was the cook but looked very young and inexperienced
as did others hanging around the kitchen area.
I had every intention of complaining when the landlady (who needs to smile more) came over after our meal but she took the plates without a single word! i was expecting 'how were your meals' at least, i was gobsmacked... Maybe she knew something was amiss judging by other dinners leaving half empty plates
Used to enjoy this pub but after such a truly awful experience shall not be frequenting again!
