Great pub - friendly locals, good atmosphere, healthy selection of beers. Much better than the dump at the other end of Theberton St....

The Pig and Butcher, Islington

Don't go to this pub. It looks ok from the outside but don't be fooled by this - the barstaff (one in particular) act very friendly at first but then when you have been in a couple of times will gain an attitude and start making snide comments - who needs that with a sunday afternoon pint? Unless there is an FA Cup final on the place is usually dead with no atmosphere either - you are much better going tot he other end of Theberton St to the Bull - friendly service, better range of beers, better atmosphere...
