The Stonhouse, Clapham

This place just opened about 3 weeks ago. Used to be a crumby old place but they've really spent some coin on doing it up very well.

Firstly for a drink it's just a really nice relaxed atmosphere. A pub to go to to chill out, not shout over people, or watch the football (they don't have a tele). There's plenty of loud pubs in Clapham so this was refreshingly different.

Went back last night for a meal and it was absolutely out of this world. The best steak (all Argentinean on the menu) and desert. Just an awesome meal. The pub is only 2 blocks off clapham high st but otherwise really in the middle of no where. I did think that the food had better be good or they will surely go under. Sure enough it was perfect. I hope they keep this standard up as I have no problem recommending this to everyone.
