full of old men and scallies - but cheap pints. so if you're after a cheap pint get in here. however no music and a high ceiling mean that it is slightly eerie. not the nicest place but cheap beer.

i've got a lot to say on this pub. used to be much better than it is now. i used to do the quiz every thursday. weekends now its full of loons, who look like they want to give you a good kicking! the roof is still too low - the toilets are better but still nasty. the beer is pretty reasonably priced. some fit barmaids too!

went here to see a band the other week. it was really busy but i dunno if thats normal. i wasn't drinking so i can't comment on the beer (bit pointless me reviewing a pub i hear u say!) the band were brilliant called 'the volga boatmen' absolutely fab! seemed like a nice place
