The Robin Hood Inn, Mawdesley

OK. Shame about the location. Seems to be struggling. Often closed in the evening. Most probably will go the same way as other pubs in snobby Mawdesley and will be converted to a luxury dwelling for rich commuters.

Red Lion, Mawdesley

A mediocre pub set in a rather drab, featureless, pretentious and snobby little commuter enclave.

Not the fault of the landlord but feels a bit inbred and "local" if you catch my drift - which is inevitable given its location.

Been struggling for years. In all likelihoods will be converted in to an expensive luxury dwelling for a rich commuter fairly soon.

Very limited public transport and local taxi services don't cover places as obscure and isolated Mawdesley
