The Middle Bell, Barton under Needwood

I'm a regular and spend most nights visiting this pub. Yeah I may be biased but the food is excellent and great value for money, especially off the specials board. As for waiting for a seat...there is a simple answer to that one......get in earlier! Or go to a less popular pub!
I find the beer is usually very good, they turn over a lot of pedi, guinnness etc so it's always fresh, certainly not dire. No it's not the best beer in the village but the wine list certainly is, vodka shots and supercooled lager (which they don't have btw) is way off the mark.
