The General Wolfe, Westerham

Comments re Rita are several years out of date as the pub is now run by Maria (Rita retired in 2001). She is warm and friendly and all customers are given a warm welcom. Good food at a reasonable price is available every lunchtime. A great place to relax and talk to friends as there are no Juke Boxes, Pool Tables or Fruit machines. Even the locals are friendly!!! An unusual pub in as much that strangers are not made to feel out of place. How long it has been a pub I don't know but beleive parts of the building date back to the 1400's. Go there and see what you've been missing all these years
