The Bull, Horton Kirby

I'd like to echo Twojackrussells comments. Danny and Kate are life savers, or should I say pub savers. Back from the brink. Beers lately have gone a bit random and still a work in progress but these two are fabulous publicans who will succeed. Hophead currently the house ale. I miss the Kent pales but they do appear occasionally and its not about what I want ! The Bull is also doing lunchtime food again which is excellent. The ales selection is coming from far and wide and generally very well kept. 5/6 cask. The bottled ales are GreenKing and I don't like them as they use their subsidising power to get publicans to stock their poor imitations for craft beer, but i'm now being picky. 9/10 to these two for putting so much hard work and effort into returning the Bull into a community pub once again.

The Ship, Dartford

just stock a decent ale ! Dark Star,Kent Brewery, Oakham!!! and you maybe surprised who comes in for a drink.. ..do publicans actually drink cask ale any more... do they they not realise that there is a market to be tapped into...pardon the pun... you won't survive on just lager...but best of luck... we need local pubs... but i'm still driving by...will try again in a few months...
