The Waterhouse, Manchester

Following several recent visits, this pub has improved over the last few months and the real ales are now consistently excellent.

Service can be an issue when loads of people are ordering food and coffee's (typical wetherspoon problem) but the strange queueing system seems to work,

The Swan With Two Necks, Pendleton

Excellent pub, 4 real ales, 1 scrumpy and 1 perry on lastnight, food looked fantastic.

According to the Manchester Evening News (Page 15) it opens today. (2nd October).
