The Perseverance, Holborn

We went there on Saturday afternoon (9.7.11), and were very unimpressed. The couple behind the bar made sure they finished their chat before serving us, but although they had a few nice ales, they'd ruined them by serving them way too cold to taste. We took our drinks to a random table, and the barman shouted angrily at us not to sit there. I wouldn't mind - oh hang on, I would - but we were the only people in there!

Not going back, which is a real pity, becuase it looked like a really nice place.
