The Travellers Rest, Sowerby

After choosing this pub to visit on bank holiday weekend to meet family we were extremely disappointed. On arrival the pub was empty and cold and the staff were unfriendly. I ordered a roast beef sunday roast; the meat was chewy, the yorkshire pudding was burnt, black and solid and the potatos were also hard. When we brought this to the attention of staff they were rude and we told the food was fine and their was nothing wrong the black sold hard yorkshire puddings. On leaving we were told not to come back, don't worry we won't!
